As well as performing and publishing his work in concert and recordings he regularly leads workshops on active listening, group improvisation and the collaborative process. He has developed his approach to listening through his studies and practice of the Classical piano repertoire, Free Improvisation, the writings of W.A. She can speak 5 different languages and has pursued Indian classical dance for 8 years. She enjoys connecting with people and learning about different cultures. Bindu started practicing Heartfulness meditation at the age of 17 and has been a trainer for the past 5 years. She grew up on Capitol Hill and in Cheverly, Maryland and has lived in Canada, Japan, and India. She moved to Greenbelt with her son Christian in 2009. She loves to travel and explore different cultures and ideas.&nbsp;Ilona was introduced to Heartfulness meditation through Bindu in 2016 while working at the American International School, Chennai. Previously, she had only experienced one mindfulness training and knew very little about meditation. No yoga or meditation experience is necessary.<br>You can practice in any position- sitting, standing, walking, or lying down. The classic position for Yoga Nidra is lying down, and you may want to have a pillow, an extra blanket or two, and a bolster, pillow, or rolled up blanket for your knees to support the lower back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-31f42c0d-056e-444b-a18c-40431d69b6df\">Introduction to Cafh<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-33571998-58b6-4440-938c-be1c50c87c26\">Sunday Sept 13th 1-30-3:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-d9feb1d8-4ab8-4e15-a270-f4e67ecfe397\">What is the meaning of life? How do I attain freedom? These questions will not be answered in this month&#8217;s Mindfulness session. Instead we will talk about Cafh, a spiritual path which offers a method and practice to help one discover the answers to these questions themself. After graduating, he joined the Peace Corps\u2019 and was sent to Pasto, Colombia. It was there that Ron was introduced to, and became a member of Cafh, a path of spiritual unfolding.
